WE ARE STILL IN DESPERATE NEED FOR VOLUNTEERS FOR OUR 5K/10K RACE ON SATURDAY MAY 1ST! IF YOU ARE AT ALL AVAILABLE OR INTERESTED PLEASE CONTACT RANDA BUSH, MARY NAGLE, OR BOBBY GILBERT! WE HAVE A TENTATIVE VOLUNTEER MEETING SCHEDULED FOR NEXT THURSDAY, APRIL 29 AT 7:00PM IN THE STUDENT CENTER LOBBY.

We are seeking volunteers for the Asbury DARE to Run 5K/10K Race!

Saturday May 1, 2010

8:00AM

Race begins in Student Center parking lot

This event would not be possible without volunteers! We need your help! If you are interested in taking part in this event as a volunteer we would LOVE to have you!

Below are a few of the responsibilites a volunteer might have:

-Shouting split-times throughout the race

-Distributing water at water stops throughout race

-Registration

-Finish Line duties

-Setup and Cleanup

*We will have one volunteer meeting to stuff bags for the participants registered for the event and those who will arrive on race day. We will also go over volunteer responsibilities on this day. Each volunteer will receive a volunteer t-shirt. Our volunteers had alot of fun last year helping with this event and you can too! :)

It is almost that time of year again... time for our annual D.A.R.E. to Run Race!!!! We are so excited to be hosting this event for the second year in a row and cannot wait to see all of you runners and walkers on May 1st!!
